Deformed black hole in Sagittarius A

چکیده

We analyze the post-Newtonian orbit of stars around a deformed Kerr black hole. The deformation we consider is class disformal transformations nontrivial solution in scalar-tensor theory which are labeled via parameter $D$. study different limits parameter, and compare trajectories orbiting hole to case spacetime general relativity, up 2PN order. Our findings show that for generic nonzero $D$, no-hair theorem relativity violated, sense hole's quadrupole $Q$ not determined by its mass $M$ angular momentum $J$ through relation $Q=-J^2/M$. Limiting values $D$ provide examples simple exact noncircular metric solutions, whereas particular limit, where $1+D$ small but finite, obtain leading correction Schwarzschild precession due disformality. In this case, constrained using recent measurement pericenter star S2 GRAVITY Collaboration.

Gravitational Waves from Stars Orbiting the Sagittarius a Black Hole

One of the main astrophysical processes leading to strong emission of gravitational waves to be detected by the future space-borne interferometer LISA is the capture of a compact star by a black hole with a mass of a few million solar masses in the center of a galaxy. In previous studies, main sequence stars were thought not to contribute because they suffer from early tidal disruption. Here we...

Deformed Density Matrix and Quantum Entropy of the Black Hole

In the present work the approach-density matrix deformation-earlier developed by the author to study a quantum theory of the Early Universe (Planck's scales) is applied to study a quantum theory of black holes. On this basis the author investigates the information paradox problem, entropy of the black hole remainders after evaporation, and consistency with the holographic principle. The possibi...

Detection of Circular Polarization in the Galactic Center Black Hole Candidate Sagittarius A*

We report here the detection of circular polarization in the Galactic Center black hole candidate, Sagittarius A*. The detection was made at 4.8 GHz and 8.4 GHz with the Very Large Array. We find that the fractional circular polarization at 4.8 GHz is mc = −0.36 ± 0.05% and that the spectral index of the circular polarization is α = −0.6 ± 0.3 (mc ∝ ν). The systematic error in mc is less than 0...

Organizational Black Hole Theory

There are issues in organizations that require new theoretical formulation. Hence, metaphorical theorizing is used in the study of organizations to interpret them and understand their complexities. In this method, the organization is likened to an entity and one of the key features of that entity is generalized to the organization. It should be borne in mind that most organizational theories ar...

Using Pulsars to Detect Massive Black Hole Binaries via Gravitational Radiation: Sagittarius a and Nearby Galaxies

Pulsar timing measurements can be used to detect gravitational radiation from massive black hole binaries. The ∼106d quasi-periodic flux variations in Sagittarius A (Sgr A) at radio wavelengths reported by Zhao, Bower, & Goss (2001) may be due to binarity of the massive black hole that is presumed to be responsible for the radio emission. A 106d equal-mass binary black hole is unlikely based on...
